Questions people actually search for.
- Are peptides FDA approved?
- A few are. Semaglutide, tirzepatide, sermorelin, tesamorelin and bremelanotide hold FDA approvals for defined indications. The majority of peptides discussed in longevity medicine hold no approval for any use as of September 2026.
- What does peptide therapy evidence actually show?
- It varies by substance, which is why every entry in this library carries an evidence grade from A to D. Grade A means an approved drug with randomised controlled trials; grade D means no published clinical data at all.
- Is BPC-157 legal in the United States?
- BPC-157 is not FDA-approved for any use. It was reviewed by the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee on July 23, 2026 and FDA proposed not to add it to the 503A Bulks List, as of September 2026.
