How to choose a longevity clinic

Choose on four things before anything else: the physician's credentials, a written total price, who interprets your results, and what happens after the first visit. Everything else — the equipment, the interiors, the membership name — comes second.
Eight questions to ask before you book
- 01
Who is the physician, and what is their primary board certification? An MD or DO board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, endocrinology or a similar specialty. Check it yourself on CertificationMatters.org.
- 02
What is the total price, in writing? Including labs, imaging, follow-up visits and anything billed separately.
- 03
Which tests are included, and why each one? A good clinic can say what every test is for and what it would change.
- 04
Who reviews my results, and how quickly? A named physician, not only an app or a health coach.
- 05
What happens if something abnormal turns up? Ask how referrals work and whether they coordinate with your primary care doctor.
- 06
Which treatments are FDA-approved for the use they propose? Especially for hormones and peptides. An honest clinic tells you when something is off-label or experimental.
- 07
Is there pressure to buy supplements or products from them? Recommendations are normal; a required in-house product line is a warning sign.
- 08
What does follow-up look like after the first assessment? How often, with whom, and what it costs.
